"I (we) went from Haywards Heath to East Grinstead using the Bluebell Railway and stumbled upon this restaurant while walking. Was greeted with a worker, shortly sat in a table (if I remember correctly) The atmosphere is nice. Cozy music, warm yellow lights. You can hear the sizzling from the kitchen if you sit near it, which for me is a nice touch. Although ventilation and metal pipes are exposed, the decorations blend in to distract. The portions are large, with each meal mostly serving with a salad. There's a complementary sauce tray. My meal, the lasagna, looks well plated, and indeed tasted extraordinary. Peppery, smoky, and a well made Ragu that almost feels like it's made from Italy. The cheese is stringy, but not in a processed way. Like edam cheese, but grilled. The extra bread served is extremely crispy. Scrape the pieces of the lasagna using the bread, and you can maximize your taste buds. It's extremely filling though, hope you can finish it "The coffee is amazing" "Well plated presentation" "Worth it for the price" Overall, 5 stars. I wish to go here again, just one more time."
